Professional Profile
My name is Nolan Wright. I was born in Boise, Idaho, and grew up in Redmond, Washington, just outside Seattle. I graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, concentrating in Finance.
After graduating, I chose to pursue aviation full time. I began my flight training at Rainier Flight Service and later continued at Sierra Charlie Aviation when Rainier’s Cessna 162 fleet was grounded. That transition proved to be an important step in my development: through Sierra Charlie, I earned my private, instrument, commercial single-engine, commercial multi-engine, CFI, and CFII certificates.
My training and flight-instruction experience have reinforced the value of adaptability, precision, and professionalism. I am proud of the foundation I have built at Sierra Charlie and remain committed to quality training, sound aeronautical decision-making, and a safety-first culture as I continue to grow as an instructor and aviation professional.
